Six people are lucky to be alive after their boat sank off the coast of Currie Park on Sunday.
According to one of the men aboard the sinking vessel at the time, the incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the Intracoastal Waterway. He said choppy water conditions started flooding the boat.
Luckily, a nearby boater spotted the group and rescued them.
Of the others who were rescued, one was a pregnant woman.
While multiple agencies investigate the incident, witnesses say no one was hurt.
